Sean “Seandon” Donovan has been passionately writing most of his life.
He writes non-fiction, novels, “fictitious reality”, shorts and poems - about whatever happens to be on his mind at the time. His passion for writing is fueled by the fact that writing is something that the author has complete control over. The author controls the characters, the attitudes, the tone and the outcome of his stories. Sean’s philosophy is that aside from your attitude and your writing, there are not many things in life that you can completely control. He also believes that the pen truly is mightier than the sword and “writing wrongs” is a great way to deal with adversity and problems in your life. Writing can also be done anytime, anywhere - with a digital recorder, laptop or good ol’ fashioned pen and paper. As an avid traveler, Sean has done some of his best writing while traveling. He finds inspiration for his writing in the people he meets and different places and cultures he has visited.
Although Sean never intended to write for profit (only fun), a downturn in the economy shifted him away from his primary business in Real Estate and Contracting and motivated him to do what he really loves - writing. Sean realized that art in the form of music, painting, drawing and writing is one of the most profound things you can share with the public. Art is a great way to express yourself, influence others and leave a piece of your mind behind for others to enjoy once you are gone.
Sean believes that knowledge is power and every day is an opportunity to learn something new. After reading dozens and dozens of health related books, conducting extensive research on the internet, attending numerous health seminars, emulating other healthy people and experimenting with his own diet and exercise routine, Sean has become an expert in health and happiness. Sean’s first published book “Health and Happiness” is a compilation of good, common sense advice for healthy, happy living. Over a decade of being a positive person, a vegetarian and raw food advocate has afforded him a disease free lifestyle and has helped him avoid hereditary health problems in his family. Sean led by example and became the go-to guy for friends who were having both health problems and emotional stress. He began writing down the advice he was giving to others and, before he knew it, he had compiled a couple hundred pages of great advice based on his own experiences. Inspired by friends, the current state of the health care system and the loss of several people dear to him, he decided to condense his advice into an easy to read book in hopes that he may help many other people find “Health and Happiness” in their lives.
