Health and Happiness
An owner’s manual for the mind and body
The loss of several family members and a close co-worker to preventable diseases prompted me to make some profound changes at an early age in my life in an attempt to beat hereditary health issues in my family. I did some research and found that “your genes load the gun, but it’s your lifestyle that ultimately pulls the trigger”. I also discovered some incredible information that motivated me to spread the word about health to everyone. That’s why I wrote this book.
It is my hope that by sharing this knowledge I will start a wave of grass-roots health reform which will help everyone become healthier, happier and possibly avoid a health crisis. I employ common-sense mentality and real-world logic to make this book credible and easy to understand. I cut through the myths, red tape and all of the confusing jargon surrounding health care today.
My philosophy is that regardless of your age, race, religion, sex, political affiliation or national origin - we should all have one common denominator – our health. We only get one life to live and one body to live it in - and when our health is gone and our time is up, nothing else matters.
The human mind and body comprise the most sophisticated “machine” on earth. Our bodies are far more sensitive and complex than any automobile, DVD player or other man-made item; but unlike those products, we don’t come with an instruction manual at birth. This book “Health and Happiness: an owner’s manual for the mind and body” offers great advice and analogies to help the average person make better decisions regarding the health of their mind and body.
